I went for an XXL because I'm 23 weeks pregnant and honestly wanted the roomiest space for my growing bump. I'm 5'1 and the robe hits me at my ankles. But going smaller wouldn't of worked for my growing bump - so in the end, I'm glad I sized up a lot. I wish they had a petite option for us short girls but otherwise, it's light enough to wear without sweating like most heavy-duty robes. The waffle texture is really nice - feels nice and airy. Softness TBD as I plan to run it through a few washes and see what happens - otherwise not too bad softness-wise.I plan to wear this postpartum and for all my breastfeeding sessions! This was exactly what I was looking for. It is a little big, but I wanted to make sure I had plenty of space, even for my winter PJs that are a little thicker. I got the navy so it is not see through. I have not washed it yet, but I am hoping it doesn't shrink. I love the length of it, but I am also a taller woman. If I had one complaint it would be I wish I could roll up the sleeves more. If you are doing alot of moving around in the robe (making breakfast) the arms don't stay rolled up for long.Had been looking for the perfect fit and feel. Every other robe kept me either too hot or too cold. Hard to find just the right fabric and I don't like the feel of polyester plush. This material is perfect. Love the kimono style sleeves as well.I wanted a light weight robe for the warmer months and one I could pack when traveling without the bulk of my heavier Terry cloth robe. This one fit the bill. I did find this robe bigger than I expected. I sized up on purpose because I wanted it to fully cover me and stay closed when sitting. However, it was bigger than I expected. I think I would have been fine with my regular size.nice robe with soft fabric - if you are between sizes, you may want to size downSo I am wearing this right now, and it is very soft and lightweight. I am 5,10" (female) and wear between sizes 6 and 8. The tag on this says M/L. I would call this an XXL for sure! It's doable because it is simply a robe and I'm definitely keeping it. Just keep in mind, it is quite big!If you get too hot after a shower, this is the robe for you!!It gives higher coverage along the neckline than I had expected, but that is fine by me. I'm going on a vacation with my family, so extra coverage is perfect. I got this because it's supposed to be thin and lightweight, so I thought it would be easier to fit in my suitcase than the thick terry cloth robe I've had for many years. It is definitely that!Another reviewer said the material is kind of see through. Due to the lighting in my room, I can't tell, but it looks like that might be the case to a point. I think you can see a faint outline of my body's shadow while I'm wearing this, but I couldn't actually see through the material. I have pale skin and I got the ecru color. I definitely could see certain bumps and bulges in outline under the robe, but it's a thin material, so that's to be expected. I don't think it's see-through on me.It was a little scratchy out of the package, but I washed it, and that went away. I enjoy lounging around in this, but I just need it to keep me covered while I go from the bathroom to the bedroom and to not take up too much room in my suitcase. It has served me well!!I get out of the shower, towel off like usual, and put on this robe. It feels great. It feels absorbent enough to keep me happy. One thing I cannot stand is wearing a robe that is not absorbent because I hate the feel of water clinging to my skin/clothes. This robe is actually fantastic for me in that regard. It is summer now, and this lightweight robe is great for walking around the house and getting ready without feeling like I have to turn on the air conditioner.I washed and dried it. I have to say that I did see a few pills on it after laundering it. That is not good, but while it was not terribly noticeable, I think that is something that might be of concern to some people.I would not give this robe as a gift unless the person specifically asked for a lightweight robe or if the person constantly complains of being too hot. I would not describe this as a terry cloth robe. It is a waffle weave.Update: I changed my review from four stars to five stars after having this robe for six months. I absolutely LOVE this robe! It absorbs water very well (I do always towel dry before putting it on, though), and it's very lightweight. That helps a LOT in the morning. I live in a warm climate, so I used to turn on the air conditioner when getting ready in the morning because my thick terry cloth robe was warm, even though I didn't realize that was the problem. Now, I want to throw out my terry cloth robe and use only this one!! I'm planning on buying another one of these robes!!I was looking for a lightweight robe because I tend to run hot, but I didn't want it to be so lightweight you could see everything (why wear a robe then, ya know?). This one is the perfect weight - not so light it doesn't cover anything, but not heavy enough to be hot. The white one is slightly transparent in the light, so don't go wearing only this outside, but it works well for wearing around the house if you don't want your neighbors seeing you hang out in a towel. It was described as a 100% cotton but it was actually 67% cotton and 33% polyester.Really disappointing?Wow, peignoir de qualité fait en mélange de coton et de polyester. Grandeur généreuse et confort assuré. Parfait pour le spa extérieur.Great product, made very well. I would encourage the plus size gals of the world, who need light weight, absorbing bath robe to try this one out. Truly pleased with this kimono style bath coat!Vraiment un bon produit, mais la grandeur ne fit pas du tout, c’est énooooorme!!! Au moins 1.5 pieds de trop grand haha. Je l’ai quand même garder parce que la taille plus petite était non disponible. Mais ça vaut le coup tout de même, hyper confortable. She likes the feel of the fabric but we thought it would be a plush waffle not a thin waffle.
