Recommend: yes, but don’t expect commercial grade, or it may be and my lack of skill in making bubble waffles right now. Fair pricing for value and quality. Pros:1. Came as described. Non stick and easy to clean. Compact, slim, easy storage. I chose this over the all in one machine due to size and I have a gas stove top.2. Semi heavy in weight, keeps temperatures of stove. I keep at medium low.3. Has a nice balanced angle when you open to poor batter in.Cons:1. No recipes. Need to experiment with recipes and temperature.Side notes:1. Base recipe of 1 cup flour will make about 5-6 bubble waffles. Perfect for family of our as a huge snack.2. Add oil to batter and or spray grill with some non stick spray on first round.Normally I don’t write reviews but this was really bad. The same like some of the other reviews I see now the items is use front and back had stuff on it and due to the bad packaging so there was a broken piece came off from the handle when I open. You can tell it was really used because even the handle was bented. Will return it and refund.this egg puff mold works just ok. I use it directly on the gas stove. It does take a while to heat up. The locking mechanism on this pan does not prevent leaks though. Be prepared to clean up a lot of over flow waffle batter on your stove burners. The nonstick does not really work well. I have to spray with some oil after each waffle and it is fine. It does not heat evenly also, but is workable. I am sure there are better pans out there, but this one is a good start if you are new to making egg puff waffles like me and don't want to invest too much yet. A solid 3 star only.Love this! Compact and easy to take with you anywhere if you are participating in a family fun day!I was hesitant on buying a bubble waffle maker online, since every single one seems to have bad reviews. I finally decided on buying this one, and honestly it works a lot better than I expected. It is a little bit smaller(around the size of your hand), but overall really good. I would suggest using Tasty's recipe.Mine came with it looking used. Also the ring that hold the two handle together is way too small. It comes out of the side and gets all scratched up. The pan part itself feels like it is quality. It doesn’t feel like aluminum. It was quite heavy. I don’t think it is cast iron though.This was an amazing find for someone who is incredibly nostalgic for such a simple confection. Now I cant make a batch without my entire family crowding around and drooling, that includes the dog. The only difficulty came from dialing in the heat and time for your specific range. Also keeping the pan 'centered' was important for maintaining an even doneness. Great investment for my kitchen.This thing is great. So much better then a counter top one.
