Finding a 100% cotton waffle knit robe was no easy feat. I’d actually purchased a couple that were advertised as 100% cotton, and they initially felt that way… But after wearing for a few minutes, could tell they were not “breathing” well and felt warm. This robe is as advertised. Im 5’7, 160lbs and went with a large. This falls about mid calf on me. Sleeves don’t quite meet my wrist, which is perfect as I like to do kitchen tasks in a comfy robe.I wore the robe MAYBE 2 times. The shoulders were VERY narrow and the 'belt' and associated loops fell at just the base of my chest. It was CLEARLY designed for a person with a MUCH shorter trunk than most men have. Guys, keep looking!I really wanted a cotton waffle weave robe. This one fits the bill. It does NOT run big like most robes which I find are usually roomy. So make sure you don't underestimate the size. Also manufacture advises to "dry in shade". Yeah, like that's gonna happen. If you're like me and plan to throw it in the dryer on low setting, order up. -wife of MarkReally nice robe for lounging around the house, haven’t used it as a towel so to speak so I can’t speak for the absorbency but I have towels similar and they work great. Well with the investment.Love this robe!! OMG! I bought a large. It fits really well (and I'm a big girl), feels great, looks fabulous. First time I've bought a robe, sight unseen. I was pleasantly surprised! I bought two!!Exactly what my daughter wanted. Super fast ship. Bought a L for my XL daughter, fits perfectly. Medium weight waffle fabric.I love this robe- it’s thick enough that it’s not see through, but thin enough that it never makes you feel stuffy or hot! This was a gift. The recipient absolutely loved it. Unlike most of the similar robes for sale on here, these are much softer, 100% cotton. Most of the ones in spas are poly-cotton. 100% cotton is an upgrade in terms of comfort.
